Sotano de las Golondrinas
One impressive place to practice rappel is the Sótano de las Golondrinas in Aquizmón, the sixth deepest abyss in the world with a vertical free fall to the first base of 333 meters and 512 meters to the bottom. There are also several caves and grottos that are good for this activity such as the Cueva de Xilitla, el Sótano de las Guaguas, la Catedral, San Cayetano and the Cueva Azul (Blue Cave).
