Municipal Palace

This sober Neoclassic style building was built between 1928 and 1933 headed by Architect Enrique Canseco. It houses the City Hall and Municipal Library. It has three levels with grey quarry. In its center, you will find the entrance flanked by three doors as well as Tampico’s shield.
Inside this building you can admire a mural that narrates the history of this city by the artist Carlos Sens. In the District Council room there is an antique photo gallery that includes the pictures of all of Tampico’s presidents since its foundation.
