Expo-Metro Tampico

Tampico’s Convention and Exposition Center was inaugurated last June of 2008. It was built as part of the State Infrastructure Program 2008-2010 by the State’s Government searching to expand the region’s services and to achieve a greater international competitiveness as a zone with industrial, commercial and tourist potential. EXPO TAMPICO strengthens the advantages of the southern part of Tamaulipas making it an important zone for business trips and meetings attracting the creation of new jobs and prosperity for the region.

Besides an infrastructure with high quality standards, this place also has first level technology. It was built in a 50,000 m2 area. All sorts of commercial, tourist, technological, entertainment expositions and conventions can be held here, including meeting rooms with capacity from 12 to 9,000 people, 4 convention rooms as well as exposition modules, offices, a parking lot with capacity for 537 vehicles and gardens.
