Miramar Beach
Miramar Beach is considered done of the most beautiful beaches in the Gulf of Mexico. It is also the most important tourist attraction in the state. Proof of that is the visit of thousands of people of the region as well as from other parts of Mexico and from other countries that come to enjoy everything this place has to offer.
The beach is in the municipality of Cd. Madero only 30 minutes away from Tampico’s Historical Downtown. It has a 10-kilometer extension of fine golden sand with a soft slope and lukewarm waters of a beautiful blue-greenish color. Its calmed swell and blowing wind are favorable for practicing windsurf. At the shore you will find from rustic “palapas” where you can lay down under their shade to modern beach clubs that have all types of services and comfort.
The Coastal Boulevard runs along Miramar Beach from its entrance at Tamaulipas Avenue to the southern part of El Malecón, where you can see boats and big vessels. On this totally illuminated boulevard many hotels, restaurants and convenience stores have been established. Among the hotels we recommend in your visit to the region there is Club Maeva Miramar, which works under the “All Inclusive” concept and offers infinity of services as well as the Brisas del Mar Hotel. Both of them have great restaurants for guests and visitors. For the fun of big and small ones, you can lease bicycles, motorcycles banana boat rides. There is also a water park with slides.
