Tampico Wakeboard City
Wakeboard is one of the newest extreme sports of the world and Tampico is one of the best places to practice it, since the water temperature is perfect all the year long. One practices this mainly in waters of the Chairel Lagoon and in the Tamesí River, where tules, which are plants that are part of the lagoon ecosystem, these work as wind curtains and the width of the channels protects the water as well, avoiding that the wind resistance which could affect the different exercises and spins, making it perfect to practice water skiing in addition to wakeboard.
